BOSTON RESIDENTS INVITED!

Want to have a REAL discussion about Boston's diversity?

1,000 participants, 55 series and over 230 meetings so far.
Countless changed hearts and minds.

City-Wide Dialogues brings Bostonians together in honest yet respectful, multi-session dialogue groups of racially or ethnically diverse residents and two co-facilitators. The result is decreased stereotypes, increased understanding and trust, as well as friendships across old barriers. City-Wide Dialogues also facilitates Youth-Police Dialogues in Boston, opening up lines of communication in neighborhoods affected by violence.

All our Dialogues use ground-rules for respectful dialogue and inspire relationships that increase quality of life and help Boston to be a strong, safe, attractive, and welcoming place for all who live or work in our richly diverse city.

Our organizers recognize that a key to overcoming challenges and achieving our civic goals — in housing, jobs, schools, health care, public safety, etc. — is engaging each other on a personal level to improve the quality of our human relationships. Facilitated multi-session dialogues help make such relationships possible. The Dialogues are a positive, proactive effort in which we acknowledge the past and share visions of a diverse, vibrant Boston that is inclusive and respectful of everyone.
