FACILITATOR
We are seeking individuals who would be interested in volunteering to co-facilitate one or more of these dialogue rounds. Training will be provided. Each facilitation team will include at least one experienced facilitator, and at least one person who lives in the neighborhood where the dialogue will be held, see List of Participating Neighborhoods. The teams will be comprised of individuals with different racial/ethnic backgrounds. There will be three different rounds taking place: fall, winter, and spring. RECRUITING PARTICIPANTS FOR DIALOGUES
Neighborhood Outreach Committee
If you are interested in recruiting participants for the City-Wide Dialogues then the neighborhood outreach committee is for you.

    Guidelines and Suggestions for Recruiting Participants:
  • Speak with different organizations in the community to recruit
  • Go to different neighborhoods in the community to recruit
  • Ethnic diversity
  • Age diversity
  • Economic class diversity
  • Limit the number of "friends"
  • Provide adequate information for participants (flyers)
  • Ensure they will make a commitment for four dialogue sessions for two hours each


Neighborhood Outreach Co-Chairs
We are seeking individuals who would be interested in recruiting individuals to participate in the dialogues. You will serve as a liaison between your community and the City-Wide Dialogue (CWD) staff. Each neighborhood may have one or more neighborhood outreach co-chair.

    The Co-Chairs will work in close cooperation with the CWD staff to:
  • Recruit neighborhood participants for the Dialogues
  • Ensure that each Dialogue group includes people from a variety of ethnic and racial backgrounds
  • Assist interested participants with registering
  • Report information from written registration forms
  • Contact participants to inform them of Dialogue dates, times and location

EVALUATION & FOLLOW UP COMMITTEE
This committee is responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of the dialogues. It will require attending some of the dialogue sessions and providing an analysis of the curriculum. Determining the level of success of our efforts is a critical task for the entire project. If you have experience in this area and are interested in being a part of the follow up committee, please contact:
